Kick On & Kick Back
Eats, Drinks, Accommodation & Attractions

Consuming vast amounts of culture can be hard work, so don't forget to slot in some down time in your Perth Festival plans. If you want to kick on or kick back without losing the festival vibe, head for the Festival Village: there’s the cafe during the day, while at night The Verandah’s noodle bar sustains hungry culture vultures, and the bar slakes the thirst. Elsewhere there's plenty of great dining to choose from in and around Perth, as well as a lively bar, pub and club scene. There are many excellent wineries to visit if you’re up for a bit of a drive out of the city, including those in the famous Margaret River region. Many offer cellar-door sales, and some vineyards also serve excellent meals. If you're from out of town, perhaps some accommodation is in order? Between the artistic excitement, visit some of the big attractions in Perth and nearby Fremantle. Here are some top spots to check out:
Cottesloe Beach
The Aquarium of Western Australia
New Maritime Museum Fremantle
Kings Park
Subiaco Pavilion Markets
St Mary’s Cathedral
